F1 in Schools at 2011 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix
Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi is the home of the F1 in Schools Centre
of Excellence and will be showcasing the F1 in Schools Technology
Challenge at this weekend's Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix. F1 in Schools
will have a large area to show case the challenge including two of the
specially designed 24 metre F1 in Schools race tracks where the public
will be able to put their reactions to the test.
F`1 in Schools Centre of Excellence
The dedicated F1 in Schools Centre of Excellence is a purpose-built
educational facility, located right on the Yas Marina Circuit itself.
It can accommodate up to 40 people and enables visitors to experience
aspects of the F1 in Schools programme, and can also be used for
meetings and training.
The Centre provides:
*Daily or weekly holiday programmes for children aged 9-19
*Primary and secondary school day visits
*School teambuilding workshops
*Corporate workshops
*Teacher training facilities
