Ferrari F1- Felipe Massa  & Kimi Räikkönen 

Brazilian born Felipe Masso made his Formula One debut in 2002, with the Swiss based Sauber petronas team, before joining Ferrari as a Test Driver. He then became a Driver for Ferrari. He married fiancé Raffaela Bassi at the end of last year, 2007. Felipe hope to bring home the World Champion title, as Brazil have not celebrated an F1 title for 17 years.

From a young age, Kimi Raikkonen has shown a passion in racing. He competed sucessfully in his first Grand Prix with Sauber, before signing a 5-year contrat with McLaren. Following this furthur success, Kimi wished to broaden his experience and joined Ferrari with a 3-year contract. Kimi then battled for the Driver's title, and looks forward to defending his title this year...

BMW Sauber F1Nick Heidfeld & Robert Kubica  

Before entering the world of Formula One, Nick Heidfeld enjoyed karting, and regularly competed both nationally and internationally. Nick made his F1 debut at the Australian Grand Prix on 12th March 2000, age 22. Nick take his place with the BMW Sauber F1 Team seriously, and is considered professional and passionate about F1 by everyone he meets. 

Robert Kubica is the first Polish racing driver to compete in Formula One. From 2006 he has driven for BMW Sauber, promoted from test driver to race driver during 2006. Robert competed and proudly won the 2005 Renault World series with 154 points over 17 races.

Renault F1-Fernando AlonsoNelson Piquet Jr.  

Originally from Spain, Fernando Alonso believes his passion for F1 comes from his father who encouraged him into the world of cars from an early age. Alonso was the third-youngest driver ever to start a F1 race when he made his debut with Minardi at the 2001 Australian Grand Prix. Following Minardi, Fernando joined Renault F1 for 4 years (2002-2006), and briefly raced for McLaren in 2007. He shortly returned to Renault in 2008.

Did you know Nelson Piquet Jr.'s full name is Nelson Ângelo Tamsma Piquet Souto Maior? Originally form Heidelberg, Germany, Nelson grew up in Brazil and currently lives in England. In 2007, Nelson became the Test and Reserve Driver for Renault, before being promoted to a team Driver (Renault) in 2008. In the current F1 season, Nelson is in a respectable 11th place in the current Formule One season.  

Williams F1- Nico Rosberg & Kazuki Nakajima

Nico Rosberg has been a racing driver for Williams F1 for nearly 3 years. He would consider Monaco as his hometown, but is proud to support his heritage by racing under the German flag. However, he has competed for Finland earlier in his career and holds dual nationality from both countries. As a youngster aged 11, Nico began karting, and moved up to German Formula BMW in 2002 where he won the title. He has continued to rise through F1 to where he is today. 

As a youngster, Kazuki Nakajima was crowned the Suzuka Formula ICA karting champion, where his love for cars grew. Following this young success, Kazuki was scouted by Japanese car manufacturer Toyota as part of the corporation's Young Drivers Program. As Kazuki improved and worked upon his driving he excelled in Formula 3, until it was announced on 9th October 2007 that following the retirement of Alexander Wurz, Nakajima would race for Williams in the season finale in Brazil.

Redbull RacingDavid Coulthard  & Mark Webber

David 'DC' Coulthard, is a Formula One racer from Scotland. David has amassed an amazing number of points, and lies fourth on the all-time scorers, being the top British scorer. He has won thirteen grands prix, including two at Monaco, which made him the first British driver since Jackie Stewart to take victory there. This will be his last year as a Red Bull driver as he announced before the 2008 British Grand Prix that he is to retire from Formula One racing once the 2008 season is over.

Australian-born Mark Webber moved to England in 1995 where he currently lives.To furthur his career as a Formula One driver, he made his debut at his home race in the 2002 Australian Grand Prix. After a poor start in F1 with Jaguar, Marks luck turned as his racing improved and he gained more points. Following an eventful career, Mark signed a contract with Red Bull Racing to race with them. 

Toyota F1Jarno Trulli & Timo Glock 

Jarno Trulli is an Italian Formula One Racer, born in Pescara, Abrusso. After a sucessful Formula 3 career, Jarno signed with the Irish squd Jordan before moving to Renault for a two-year run. Following this, Jarno signed with Toyota in 2004 and still races with them due to highly successful results and many poduim finishes.  

Timo Glock, from Germany, is one of only a few of select drivers who have scored a World Championship point in their first Formula One race. This exclusivness of this title is something he is proud of as not many people share this honour. Timo became increasingly interested in cars when he was 15-years-old, and he won several carting championships and in his first German F3 Championship season in 2002, he finished third in the standings en route to rookie of the year honors. Timo now races with Toyota. 

Toro RossoSebastian Vettel & Sebastien Bourdais 

Sebastian Vettel is a German race car driver. By taking part in Friday practice for the 2006 Turkish Grand Prix, Vettel became the youngest ever Formula One driver to drive at a Grand Prix meeting, at 19 years and 53 days. On Sunday September 30th 2007, during the Japanese Grand Prix Vettel became the youngest driver to lead a race in Formula One history. ( He also became the quickest driver to get a fine in F1, being fined $1,000 nine seconds into his career, after speeding in the pitlane. He also became the sixth youngest driver to start a Grand Prix, the youngest driver to score points in a Grand Prix and lead a Grand Prix.

Originally form France, Sébastien Bourdais races for Toro Rosso. He is one of the most successful race drivers of all time in the Champ Car World Series, having won four successive championships, including 2004, 2005, 2006 & 2007. Being born onto a racing family, Sébastien started karting from the age of 10. His sucess grew from there....

Honda Racing F1 – Jenson Button & Rubens Barrichello 

British driver Jenson 'Jense' Button, took an intrest in cars and karts at a young age. Being introduced by his father, Jenson competed in regional, national and international kart races before moving into the world of Formula One. Racing for teams such as Williams (2000), Benetton (2001), Renault (2002) and BAR (2003-2005), Jenson is currently racing for Honda Racing F1, as of 2006.   

Rubens Barrichello, Brazil, Barrichello grew up idolizing the late Ayrton Senna while Senna in return considered Barrichello his protege. As of the 2008 Formula One Season, Barrichello is the only driver left competing in Formula One to have raced against the likes of Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost making Barrichello the last remaining link in F1 to that era. Barrichello has scored the fifth greatest Drivers' points total in Formula One history. Barrichello drove for Ferrari from 200 to 2005, asMichael Schumacher's teammate, enjoying considerable success. Schumacher's retirement at the end of 2006 made Barrichello the most experienced driver on the grid, and at the 2008 Turkish Grand Prix he became the most experienced driver in F1 history.

Force India F1- Adrian Sutil & Giancarlo Fisichella

German-born Adrian Sutil was born a talented musicican, however at the age of 14 began competing in karting. He also competed in Formula BMW and Formula 3 before Formula One and Adrian is currently in 21st position in the 2008 Formula One Championship season with Force India. He also speaks fluent German, English and Spanish, with a little Italian.

Giancarlo Fisichella, born in Rome, Italy, is an Italian racing driver. He has driven in Formula One for Renault, Sauber, Jordan, Benetton and Minardi. He currently drives for the Force India Team. In the 2008 Monaco Grand Prix, he became the 9th driver to join the '200' club for drivers to have competed in at least 200 Grands Prix. The only other active drivers in the club are David Coulthard and Rubens Barichello.

Vodafone McLaren Mercedes F1- Lewis Hamilton& Heikki Kovalainen 

Lewis Hamilton is a British Formula One Driver.At the age of ten, he approached McLaren team principal,Ron Dennis, at an awards ceremony and told him "I want to race for you one day."; less than three years later, he was signed by McLaren and Mercedes-Benz to their Young Driver Support Programme. After winning the  British Formula Renault, European Formula 3 and GP2 championship, he became a McLaren F1 driver for 2007, making his Formula One debut 12 years after his initial encounter with Dennis. Coming from a mixed-race background, with a black father and white mother, Lewis is often labelled "the first black driver in Formula One".

Heikki Kovalainen, born in Finland, began his Formula One career in the 2006 championship winning Renault team in 2007. In December 2007, it was announced he would race for McLaren, alongside Lewis Hamilton. Heikki came 1st in the 2004 Nissan World Series, with 176 points. 

Bernie Ecclestone

Bernard 'Bernie' Ecclestone was born in St Peter South Elmham, a small hamlet three miles south of Bungay, Suffolk. Bernie is the president and Chief Exectuve Officer (CEO) of Formula One Management and Formula One Administration, and owns a stake in Alpha Prema., the parent company of the Formula One Group of companies. As such, he is generally considered the primary authority in Formula One (F1) racing. He is most commonly addressed in tabloid journalism as "F1 Supremo". His early involvement in the sport was as a competitor and then as a manager of drivers Stuart Lewis-Evans and Jochen Rindt. In 1972 he bought the Babham team (Motor Racing Developments), which he ran for fifteen years.

As a team owner he became a member of the Formula One Constuctors Association. His control of the sport, which grew from his pioneering the sale of television rights in the late 1970s, is chiefly financial, but under the terms of the Concarde Agreement he and his companies also manage the administration, setup and logistics of each Formula One Grand Prix. Bernie also attempted to compete in two Grand Prix races during the 1958 when he was in his heyday as a racer.
