CLARIFICATION RECEIVED 08/02/2021 "Just wanted to check if we will be sent a graphic of the event branded header board to include in our design work or will we need to design this ourselves?" CLARIFICATION PROVIDED 08/02/2021 Closer to the event, F1 in Schools will provide a digital event header board to all competing teams.
Please refer to C6.6.1: "The Team Pit Display is at the heart of an F1 in Schools event. It is the base of a team and says everything about a Team’s identity, USP (Unique Selling Point), brand and design development journey. For this event, the Pit Display will be judged by a digital submission. Teams have the choice of creating a 3D CAD model of their design, complete with graphics, separate components and colour schemes, OR a 2D proposal, either designed in a 2D CAD package or drawn by hand. Teams must design their Pit Displays to fit within the dimensions of a standard World Finals display booth. As in any F1 in Schools World Finals, teams will be provided with an event branded header board by F1 in Schools. This graphic must be included in all finished design work, whether presented in 2D or 3D. Please see the Pit Display booth diagram in the Appendix for more information. Teams will use their 2D or 3D designs to produce a 10-minute video presentation of their pit display for the judges. Teams have the freedom to edit their videos in any way they wish, including featuring team members either visually or verbally, using voiceovers and using animations. At the discretion of the chair of judges, a penalty of up to 20 points may be applied for each infringement of the above criteria."

CLARIFICATION RECEIVED 25/12/2020 1. Is a communications matrix required in the portfolio? In past years only methods of communication were usually mentioned, however now we need a plan, cycle and matrix. 2. How do we need to include RACI in the communications slide as it is already explained and emphasised in the roles and responsibilities slide. CLARIFICATION PROVIDED 02/02/2021 Project Management Guide is now updated to expand on the explanation of the Responsibility Assignment Matrix and include a reference to RACI. It has also been decided to remove the reference to RACI in the score card for Communications Strategy. Whilst the PMIEF do acknowledge this is an important part of the communications strategy it is better assessed as part of Roles and Responsibilities.
