CLARIFICATION RECEIVED 22/06/2023 Due to the regulations, the halo seems to be visibly different from the rest of the chassis due to its material or texture. But is it possible for us to integrate the halo directly into our car by sticking it onto our chassis before the painting process, so the car seems unity in color, texture, and material with the halo after painting? CLARIFICATION PROVIDED 22/06/2023 To allow the Halo to become an integral part of the car design it can be bonded to the chassis before any surface finish is applied, however, the revised visibility boxes (New T4.4.2 and T4.4.3) must be compliant.

CLARIFICATION RECEIVED 21/06/2023 We already have Halo V1 implemented in our car, do we have to change to Halo V2? CLARIFICATION PROVIDED 22/06/2023 The Halo has been revised to improve the part’s performance, especially on the notch recess, but we fully understand that some teams may find it difficult to comply with the implementation requirement of using the Halo V2, due to time or budget limitations.
For the Aramco F1 in Schools World Finals 2023, we will accept the Halo V1, however, the revised visibility boxes (New T4.4.2 and T4.4.3) must be compliant. |
