"Yas Island is a very special venue and is perfect for hosting this prestigious event – it has so many attractions for our teams to enjoy and is an ideal base from which to explore Abu Dhabi. The F1 in Schools team has been event-planning for months to make this an experience of a lifetime for everyone who attends. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all of our 55 teams, who have worked so many long days and late nights preparing for this moment - I am sure the judges and all of our guests will be extremely impressed. I would like to thank all of our sponsors, in-country partners, teachers, parents and volunteer judges, without whom this event would not be possible.
