TRAK RACER PUTS STUDENTS IN THE DRIVING Students attending the Aramco F1 in Schools 2023 World Finals in Singapore will have the opportunity to put their driving skills to the test thanks to Trak Racer. The renowned gaming platform manufacturer, known for its high-end racing and flight simulators, is set to provide its recently launched Alpine Racing TRX for use at the STEM education event.
The first commercial racing simulator co-developed with an F1 team, the Alpine Racing TRX is suitable for both professional drivers and fans alike. Additionally, its fully adjustable seat bracket, wheel mount and pedal tray have been designed alongside BWT Alpine F1 Team engineers, offering a lifelike race experience and has been tested by BWT Alpine F1 drivers Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly. Students at the F1 in Schools event will be able to compete for the fastest lap time on the TRX simulator, with the winner receiving an exclusive Alpine F1 garage tour ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix. Matt Sten, CEO and Founder of Trak Racer comments, “We’re celebrating our 15th anniversary this month, and we’re delighted to be participating in the Aramco F1 in Schools 2023 World Finals! It will be brilliant to provide the students with an up-close insight into the engineering that goes into creating a race simulator as powerful as the Alpine Racing TRX, as well as seeing the incredible work those talented students have invested into the development of their own F1 in Schools cars.” Andrew Denford, CEO and Founder of F1 in Schools, continues, “It’s fantastic to have an Alpine Racing TRX at our event: it gives our students the chance to unleash their inner F1 driver, and experience how it feels to be in the car, rather than designing it for a change.”
