Get going! Nothing will work better than getting going with your ideas; start sketching, designing, thinking and creating. There is no such thing as a bad idea.

1. The Car

We are looking for the most exciting, imaginative and creative car of the future. 2022 dawns the new age for F1 car design and we want you to show us what you think F1 in Schools cars should look like to keep up.

Tell us a little bit about your design with some notes. Think about:

• What’s your favorite part of your idea?
• What is the name of your car idea? Maybe something cool like… “Zoomtastic 2.0”
• What do you think the car should be made of?

Sign your design… who knows, this sketch could be worth millions one day!

2. The Team

What is a car without a team behind it?  You are the Team Principal of the next big race team in the 2022 Formula 1 season.  You’ve got millions of investors, but no team name or logo.  Time to get thinking before those investors go elsewhere!
Start with a mind map of cool names; maybe they relate to speed, cars or maybe you? Pick a name and design a logo. Think about the following:

• 2022 is the year of zero emissions, does your name and brand support that?
• Does your team have a motto? “Too fast, no so furious”
• What are your team colours? Maybe you’re the new team in red?

Make sure to sign your ideas... protect your original work like F1

3. The Brand

What is a brand if you don’t show it off?  Whether it’s through their uniforms, merchandise or their amazing car, no one shows off a brand quite like Formula 1 teams.
See your ideas from the “Name It” challenge and start thinking of the following:

• A logo. What would look good on a keyring? On the TV?
• A uniform. What do you want your team to look like strutting through the airport?
• Merchandise. What do you think people want to buy? We heard a baseball cap isn’t a bad place to start.

The more merchandise the better! No one will say no to some swag with a cool brand on it.
